Communicating risks during public health emergencies

During a public health emergency, communicating effectively with the communities helps minimize deaths and diseases. It allows people at risk to understand and adopt protective behaviors.

Communication needs to be a dynamic process of sharing and responding to information about public health threat. For this countries need to prepare in advance.
